What to Expect at Your Eye Examination
A comprehensive eye examination at Noranda Optometrist is far more than a simple vision check. Our optometrists assess your full eye health, screening for conditions like glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, and diabetic eye changes, many of which have no early symptoms.

What the exam includes: visual acuity, refraction, eye pressure, fundus assessment, OCT imaging
How long it takes: approximately 30 minutes for a comprehensive exam
When to book: every 12 months for most adults; annually if you have diabetes, glaucoma risk, or a family history of eye disease
Bulk billing: available for eligible Medicare patients

Ortho-K is a fitted medical device, so the fee reflects the mapping, the custom lens design and the follow up care rather than the lenses alone. The tier your child falls into is confirmed at the suitability assessment.
